Sean Lewis is a freelance photographer based in West Sussex. His aim is to show the essence of nature as an art form.
He started as a wildlife photographer back in the 1980s and studied photography at Brighton City College during the late 90s. During the mid 2000s, Sean turned his attention to landscape and travel photography, working exclusively with 5×4 inch film for a number of years.
Through his photography Sean hopes to communicate his vision of exploration, discovery and beauty within the landscape. He likes to photograph the landscape with careful consideration for composition, investing time waiting for the right light to illuminate the subject be it a wide vista or a fine detail within it. He still uses 5×4 inch film for personal projects, but most of his work is now digital.
